Hello TN Visa Experts,

When I applied last year, I traveled to Canada (since I was in the US) and made sure to travel back through Pearson's Airport. What happened is the following: my passport expired on January 4th, 2015, so when the officer approved my TN application he said the I-94 would be valid till your passport's expiry date. But in his stamp he wrote down the following: "TN. Jan 04 2015. PP expiration date. (Position). (Company name). $ 50 fee collected, receipt # xxxx. TN approved until June 01, 2016."

My question is the following, does this mean I will still have my TN application valid, and I only need to renew and re-enter without having to resubmit anything, or do I need to redo the whole thing all over again with a new letter and all the required documents?

If I need to reapply, can I reapply by mail? Do I need to renew my passport before applying?

Thank you so much, and looking forward to your reply.
