We are considering an Adjustment of Status for my Green card. My visa has expired and my wife’s annual income may not be enough. We are told we need a sponsor, is this true?
Answer:
You are correct if you do not meet the minimum requirements that you may require a sponsor. But you should have an immigration expert review your financials to quickly determine if there is a way to file your application without requiring the sponsor. It is much easier if you can avoid requiring a sponsor.
