I overstayed on my visa and recently married an American citizen. Can we file for the Adjustment of Status or will I have problems obtaining my Green card?

In most cases one is able to apply for the Adjustment of Status, but it will depend on which visa you entered the U.S. on as well as how long you overstayed.
When someone overstays by 180 days more problems can arise.
