Do I need to renew my TN Visa, if my passport is expiring soon?
Answer:
No. Your TN Visa does not expire simply because your passport expires. Your TN Visa is good for the length of time issued. You should have the Form I-94 stating the duration. Keep this with you. Also, if you know you do not have to travel outside the country, you can renew your passport via mail and be fine. When traveling on your new passport keep the I-94 and old passport (just in case) with you.
