Can you renew your TN visa more than once per year? I am going to a U.S. Port of Entry this week to apply for a TN visa as a Research Assistant. The university intends to hire me for a contract that will end in 3 months. I will get another research contract if they get more funding.
Answer:
Yes. You can renew your TN Visa unlimited times according to NAFTA. In most cases, when you request your TN Visa, you will get a stamp for 1yr or 3 years so if your employer decides to extend, you will most likely not have to renew since the TN was issued for a longer length of time.
